THE GLOWS of GLORY
Slander’s sorrows now are passed,
The glows of glory are being cast,
Upon an unsuspecting race,
Still blinded to redeeming grace.
The glory draws the soul to Him,
In consciousness once fully dim.
To worship pure in the Spirit’s realm,
Far beyond the former sham.
For mankind knows no worship now,
A long time just in religious vow,
To assemble and sing in godless form,
Satisfied with such as if ‘God’s norm.’
Short of that glory, which brought our sin,
Is now encroaching the witnesses again.
Though the sleeping virgins, all unaware,
Thankful soon they were in His care;
For His glory flesh cannot enter in,
None such among all human kin.
Only in His glory shall be our change;
Forever to dwell upon His plane.
With two-fold mindedness I await,
That which shall be all humans fate,
For in that moment, that twinkling eye;
All their lifetimes shall pass by;
Until immortality shall but dress,
Those mortals who find out their best,
Is far, far short of glories’ demand
And only in grace eternally to stand.
