We are still Grace Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Inc. But due to COVID and an aging congregation we have had to sell our property on 10452 Fitzgerald Rd., Jonesboro, Ga. We, like the early church after Pentecost, do not own any property. Therefore we are now an Online Church, uploading sermons and Bible studies weekly. Brother Mike Conrad and I record new messages in the sound studio every Saturday morning. They can be observed on YouTube and listened to at www.sermon audio.com.
Our current US Postal mailing address is Grace Baptist Church, 172 Sam Solomon Rd., Locust Grove, Ga. 30248. And we still have the same status with the government and therefore all donations and financial gifts remain tax deductible.
We have been asked concerning the verse in Hebrews 10:25 which states, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” And this we continue to do according to the instructions from our Lord Jesus Christ. For he clearly reveals to us that the true, spiritual body of believers is not to be identified by a building location, but by those hungering and thirsting for righteousness.
Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Twice in these verses regarding physically assembling in a set location in order to find Him, Christ is recorded as saying, “Believe it not.” And regarding being lured to a physical location to find Christ, he states, “Go not forth.” Then he reveals that true worship is to be had for the identity of the true church, which the prophet stated was towns “without walls.” (Zechariah 2:4) For it is only where those who mount up with wings as eagles, are spiritually drawing forth and nourishing themselves upon the Being of Christ that identifies the true church! John 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
